A home inspection does not determine whether a home “passes” or “fails.” Instead, it provides an objective, visual evaluation of the home’s condition at the time of inspection. The purpose is to identify material defects, explain observed conditions, and help clients make informed real estate decisions.
Most inspections are completed within two to four hours, depending on the size and condition of the property. Clients are welcome to attend the inspection to gain a better understanding of the home and the findings documented in the written report.
Damaged exterior siding was observed under soffit near peak of building , out of site from the ground. The damage had allowed water intrusion into the structure and contributed to moisture-related deterioration and mold growth, and protentional pest entry. Repair by a qualified contractor was recommended.
An active leak was observed at the kitchen sink drain line that had been improperly patched with duct tape. Repair by a qualified plumber was recommended.
